17+ Years of Teaching Experience
I am an experienced Mathematics teacher and academic coordinator with more than 17 years of experience in teaching Mathematics. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked extensively with students at the Grade XI and Grade XII levels, with a particular focus on developing strong mathematical concepts, problem-solving abilities, and examination readiness.
Currently, I serve as a Science Coordinator and teach Mathematics to Grade XI and Grade XII students. In addition to classroom teaching, I contribute to academic planning, student guidance, teacher coordination, assessment, and the organization of academic activities.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching Mathematics to Grade XI and Grade XII students.
Preparing students for NEB examinations and higher-level competitive examinations.
Developing students' conceptual understanding and mathematical reasoning.
Teaching topics including Algebra, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Vectors, Statistics, Probability, and other areas of higher-secondary Mathematics.
Designing lesson plans, notes, exercises, assessments, and examination materials.
Supporting students with different levels of mathematical ability.
Identifying academically weak students and developing strategies for improvement.
Guiding students in developing effective problem-solving techniques and examination skills.
Coordinating academic activities as Science Coordinator
Working closely with Mathematics and Science faculty members to improve teaching and learning.
Monitoring students' academic progress and providing appropriate guidance.
Coordinating examinations, practical activities, academic competitions, Olympiads, orientations, and other educational programs.
Communicating with students and guardians regarding academic performance and development.
Teaching Approach
My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that Mathematics is best learned through understanding rather than memorization. I emphasize concepts, logical reasoning, step-by-step problem solving, and practical applications.
I try to make difficult mathematical ideas simple and understandable by following a structured approach:
Concept → Explanation → Example → Practice → Application
I also incorporate digital and visual tools such as mathematical presentations, graphs, and interactive resources to make Mathematics more engaging and accessible.
Academic Leadership
As a Science Coordinator, I take an active role in creating a positive academic environment for students and teachers. My responsibilities extend beyond classroom teaching to include academic planning, coordination, student monitoring, teacher support, examination management, and educational activities
With more than 17 years of experience in Mathematics education, my goal is to help students develop not only the ability to solve mathematical problems but also the confidence, logical thinking, and analytical skills needed for further study and professional life.
